A grand concert with heavy items packed. Keerthanas were well rendered with clear diction. Raga alapanas were crisp and no gimmics what so ever. pure classical sangathis every where. The song list could have been different, thyagaraja keerthanas all over, except for varAli and other post thani songs. Sriranjani repeated twice, though there is no rule that same raaga shouldn't repeat.
Thani was good, and it was UKS show. Due to lack of time, UKS & Sreesundarkumar played thani together.
Auditorium was sparsely populated, and ticket pricing was less!! For T.M.Krishna & Sanjay, it was Rs.100 for stage, and for Rs.100 one could get a seat in auditorium. Even the canteen was closed until concert start, and opened later on!
