One of the ragas in RTP this evening Bombay Jayashree sang was Sucharitra(Confirmed with Embar).
*Can someone tell about this Raga?

SUCHARITHRA IS THE 67 th mElam with SA RI GA MA PA DA NI SA & SA NI DA PA MA GFA RI SA AND the sudha Madhyama parrallel is YAAGAPRIYA.

This is the 63rd mELa rAga (vivAdi rAga).

63rd MK is LatAngi (M2 couterpart of SarasAngi) and not a vivAdi rAg.

I have a kriti in the raga sucharithra "needu sucharitramu vini pulakicitira
nAdu vinnapamu vinavemira"
The above kriti is still under concstruction and yet to be documented, Soon it is ready , it will be posted in the website.
