It was an amazing concert. Everything falling in place. The otherwise acoustically bad and noisy hall, was so amazingly set for this concert. The sound system being perfect, amazing accompanists, the vINai also cooperative, there was everything in place. the concert was superb.
the alapanais, neraval, svarams, the two tanams.. everything was just tooo good. the alapanai of ramapriya was very good. bhairavi was amazing. purvikalyani was emotive. suddha saveri was with the necessary vigour.
a concert to cherish for a long time.

one more thing.
Mami did not use the contact mike. Even then the music came pure and clear.
Great experience to listen to Vina music in its natural tone.
What else can one be sure of than Great Music from the Maestro?
Narasimhan the Organiser was upbeat and said that Mami was the Dhanammal of the present.
