i have an audio describing the 108 divya desams. i can understand most of it because basically the name of the place and the deity are mentioned. i need some help with some words that i cannot understand. (this is from what i hear and i am absolutely zero in the knowledge of tamil so please feel free to correct)
part of the chorus line goes like this
" divya desanil kol tandiDum srimannarAyana"
what is the meaning of uraiyum, tighalum and uDanmurai? uDan means with if i am not mistaken... but what is the meaning of uDamnurai

-uDan has two meanings : (1) With and (2) immediate
In this case, it is WITH only.
uRai has meanings (1) Being (2) Freeze
uRaiyum means being with.
thighazhum/viLangum means Seen/Standing in front.

in Sanskrit, we use "samedha" like Sridevi Bhoomi devi SAMEDHA Prasanna venkateshwarar... In Tamil we say. Sridevi Bhoomi devi UDANURAIYUM Prasanna v....

I think the correct chorus is " divya dEsattil kOL tandiDum SrIman nArAyaNA"
Lord nArAyaNA! Who gives/bestows (tandiDum) strength (kOL) to his devotees in the divine (divya) places (dESattil) he resides in.
Alternately, it could mean the bhArat bhUmi is the divya dESam being alluded to here.
