I just recd the following message from Shri Ramaraj's (Vageyakara on this forum) son:
Hello Jayaram
This is Prem operating from my Fathers account.
My father suffered a severe Heart attack recently which I guess occured during the last time we visited Malar Hospital for his cold/cough problem. This apparently was not picked up by the ECG at that point.
The angiogram that we did last Monday the 4th revealed a massive attack and hence he was rushed in to an emergency Bypass surgery which took place at 2pm IST on 4th. He is now in the ICU and is slowly recovering from the surgery.
Since I was not sure of the other members with whom he is in regular touch apart from you and CMLover I have passed on this information to both of you.
Please inform this to his other friends and well wishers on the forum and request you all to pray for his speedy recovery.
I will keep you posted abt further develoments. My trip to the UK has been postponed indefinitely at this stage..
Regards
Prem
Let us pray to almighty god that Shri Ramaraj recovers fully soon.

There is so much more to be done Ramraj Sir....please get well soon and continue your good work....our prayers for your speedy recovery...Sam and Shanthi
Nick, I have already conveyed the response from the forum to Shri Ramaraj's son, and he told me he will pass it on to his father. He indicated to me that Shri Ramaraj is recovering reasonably well. Let's hope and pray that the Vageyakara is back in this forum soon.
As much as he is a man of indomitable spirit,, he cannot keep away from the Forum as he knows he is missed by all of us. He is simply following some of the medical advice to keep off as far as I know. Ever since my computer crisis I have lost my email touch with him but sincerely hope to see him here soon with renewed vigour.
Dear Sri Ramaraj - wishing you a speedy recovery with an attempt of your vAsanti composition. I know that I have not done complete justice to this wonderful composition but posting my first try.
Sabash Sriram. Perfect compliment to what rshankar beautifully stated ''may the music (nirAkAr brahm) you create, (re)create you - hale, hearty and healthy''
Superb MNS! the D1 sounds just too good. (A very nice composition and raga)
I'm sure Shri Ramaraj will be so pleased to hear this.
Wishing him speedy recovery.
