In the pallavi competition conducted by SAFE, chennai, Niranjana Srinivasan, a student of Lalitha Shivakumar(Nithyashree's mother) won the first prize. She is currently doing he doctorate under Dr.M.A.Bhageerathi, in Queenmary's College. The Judges for the competition were Sri TRS and B.Krishnamurty
