Request Lakshmanji to provide the lyrics of this Tamil Song.

Secondly, the request is for it's meaning--The Dynamic - Duo of rasikas.org (rshankar & arasi) & also rasikas are most welcome to kindly provide the meaning.

Many Thanks in advance.

As usual, a quickie version from me. Arasi/ Ravi will be needed to explain the deeper philosophical import.

varuga varuga mAmayil EriyE - Come astride the great (mA) peacock
taruga taruga parindu unadaruLE - give me with affection your blessing/ grace
murugAvenil nenjam urugAdO - won't the heart melt at the mention of 'murugA'
un aruginil inbam perugAdO - won't (our) bliss increase in your presence/ proximity
aLavilA iha mOhattAl - (due to) limitless infatuation with worldly (pleasures)
en uLamadil tIrA tuyaruTrEn - I came to unending grief in my heart
karavilAttudi pADi magizhavE - to merrily sing your praise (tudi) without falsehood/pretensions (karavu ilA)
muraLI gAnattil mayangiyE - (come) stupefied by the singing of muraLi

Is is just my feel that Dr. BMK thinks his own muraLi gaanam.....to be capable of intoxicating the Lord......?

muraLI gAnattil mayangiyE - (come) stupefied by the singing of muraLimurali gaanam.....

Yes S-P - the 'muraLi' can refers to both the flute and the composer
