Smt Visalam Venkatachalam - A distinguished Vocal/Veena Guru

Hello!

Thought this information would be useful for people looking for good gurus in North Bangalore area.

Smt Visalam Venkatachalam has recently relocated to Bangalore from Delhi and teaches both Vocal and Veena in Sahakar Nagar (about 10 minutes from Hebbal flyover).

Mami is an "A" grade artiste in both Veena and Vocal and is a senior disciple of stalwarts including Sri Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer and Sri. KS Narayanaswamy. She is a "Ganabhushanam" in Vocal and Veena and was a topper at the Swathi Thirunal Academy, Tvdm. She is a popular and much sought after guru in Delhi and has trained several hundred students over the last 25 years.
