Notes :
1. vang-manas-kAya are called the three karaNa-s, this line may make more sense in light of Madhva/dvaita doctrine (also see Mysore vAsudEvAchArya’s ‘ManasA vacasA shirasA anisham bhajata - bEgaDa)
2. tOya-ja-anghri = Lotus feet, toya is water, tOya-ja is water-born i.e. lotus..
3. dEva-taru-maNi-dhEnu = referring to the pArijAta tree, the cintAmaNi and the kamadhEnu; all of which can fulfil all material wishes, and all of which upon emerging from the milky ocean, were taken by the dEvas..
4. pavamAniya shAstravaritu = the poet wishes to serve devotees who are scholars in the ‘pavamAna sukta’ an important vedic hymn, which is central to the madhva doctrine..
5. hayavadana = hayagrIva = horse-faced lord; this is the composer vAdirAja’s signature. He has used the name of his iShTA deva as his nom de plume..
6. The reference is to vAdirAja’s spiritual teacher, jagannAtha dAsa, who isn’t the composer of this song..
7. nEsara is a lovely term for the sun, which is a totally indigenous kannaDa word unlike the other surya/ravi/ divAkara etc, which are Sanskrit words.. the tamizh analog is probably ‘kadiravan’
It is quite rare to see the use of such words as nEsar for sun and tingaL for moon; which are original contributions to kannaDa vocabulary.. the sanskrit rental is more convenient, and prevalent..
An interesting aside, the kannaDa word for month is tingalU, which echoes the english moon-month linguistic relationship.. tamizh retains a vestige of this old word in the name for moon-day (monday) - tingak-kizhamai
8. pavana-pita - Another concept from Madhva theology, where ViSNu -> VAyu -> HanumAn -> bhIma -> MadhvAcArya is an accepted lineage/hierArchy..
9. dOSa kaLeyuva vESa puSkaraNIsha - this entails two interpretations -
a. dOSa kaLeyuva vESa - Your form/attire absolves all sins i.e. looking at you removes all sin.. puSkaraNIsha = lord of puSkariNI i.e. lakSmI(puSkara = lotus = padma,puskariNI = padminI = lakSmI)
OR
b. dOSa kaLeyuva vESa-puSkaraNIsha = Lord of the vESa tank which removes all sins..
This is a little doubtful, as the song is either directed towards ranganAtha of srIranga-paTTana of mysore or ranganAtha of srIrangaM, trichy.. both ksEtra-s have tanks called darSa or candra puskariNI..
My guess is that it is about the srIrangaM deity, what with the reference to vibhISaNa and all..

Sri R.K.Padmanabha has done some extensive work on Vadiraja Swami's kritis.

PS: I did some research on this, after listening to 'manniSO srI venkatEsha' in madhyamAvathi by Gayathri Venkataraghavan. One of the desciple of R.K.Padmanabha was very helpful with these details.
His website has more details.'He has built a huge memorial in Vadiraja Swamy’s name. It is in Bangalore near Hulimavu on Bannerghatta Road. About 80+ krithis of Vadiraja Swamy have been released in cassette form & all these have been notated & the scripts are in Kannada & released in book format'

I don't mean to say kaya-vAk-manas is an exclusive dvaita concept.. It is my guess that these three out of all the tattva-s enumerated by sankhya, are of special significance to the dvaitin-s..
