The above kriti is rendered in Shudha Dhanyasi and also in Udayaravichandrika.
There is a 16 odd minutes rendition of the above by Shri R K Srikantan at :

The announcer says that the krti is in udyaravichandrika. I have my doubts.
Can someone clarify please.

In the books of Svati Tirunal kritis by Semmangudi the rAgA given for this song is udayaravicandrikA. Some people have sung this in shuddhadhanyAsi (Shankar Srinivas on a Kalavardhini cassette). Apparently there is a subtle difference between the two rAgAs, which, only the knowledgeable can discern.

The distinction between suddha dhanyasi and Udayaravichandrika is made in the scheme of rAgas followed by M.Dikshitar. He has songs in both - SreePArthasArathinA and Subrahmanyena in the former and SreeguruguhamUrthE in the latter.
In Udayaravichandrika, the bigger(KAkali) nishAdam is used, while suddha dhanyasi uses the kaisiki..
In thyagaraja's i.e, GovindA's scheme both names are used. This song is in Suddha dhanyasi; and it isn't wrong to call it U.R.Chandrika.
