*Kalyani was soul searching &divine. Equally enjoyable the detailed version of raga elaboration of Akkarai.
* sruti aligned throughout the concert.
* you will never know the technical details ingrained as you are elevated by bhakthi& Bhava of GV singing.
* On top of it all she attributes everything to guru AS mama.
* Nice review in the Hindu-Music season supplement.* can someone upload that.?

Ya, both Gayathri G and V got sterling reviews in The Hindu for their Academy efforts.

Getting sterling reviews alone is not the benchmark of good sangeetham, that too nowadays.

Now a days youngsters get over exposure i think, audience are carried away only by publicity and by advertisement,

hindu reviews are travesty largely. but given lavish praise heaped on some extremely disastrous concerts, can hardly grudge v.gayatri who is singing well.
