There was a site 'musicalnirvana.com' which used to provide useful information on composers, compositions, lyrics etc. The site has been usurped by someone else.

I would be grateful if anyone could tell me how to access the earlier site 'musicalnirvana.com'

Dear Mr Ramaswamy

Thanks.

But the lyrics (particularly of Purandaradasa and others) have not been recovered yet.

I would be grateful if you could tell a way out.

If you can read Kannada script, the following website has many many song lyrics of Purandaradasa and others Haridasas as well.

Dr. Jay with regard to the lyrics in MusicalNirvana site, as VK had explained in the other thread some type of links do not work. And I do not know a way to get them.

Sri. HMG Murthy has painstakingly put together a number of Purandaradasa lyrics and these are of available here.

See if this might provide you some answers

Very soon, we will be updating Haridasa Sampada (http://haridasa.in/). With that, you will be able to render the text in roman script as well. This will help those rasikas who can not read Kannada.

Thanks for this information, Ramakriya. I don't have to struggle with the reading of kannaDa script and as you say, it will help countless others too. Please let us know when this facility is ready.Thanks.
