Most of the music lovers have thoroughly enjoyed the mastery of Mehdi Hassan over years.So much so that he is synonimous to ghazal. Look at his position now...

I hope Pakistan govt provides some help. He is regarded as a national treasure there!

I feel terribly sad to learn about the miserable condition of the world's greatest ghazal singer MehdiHassan, his pecuniary problemand an illness that has affected his golden voice. He has got millions of admirers thro'out the world.Can't any agency collect funds for restoring his healthand relief from pangs of poverty I tried vainly to find out his best ghazal, but search proved it is as difficult as counting the number of stars in the sky. However there is a special affinity for 'Baat karni mujhe mushkil' gobilalitha
'unki VOICEme khuda jaane kiya kya jadoo ' Pray Almighty to help him tide over the crisis. GBL
