Sri Manjunath - lovely pictures and story - thanks for taking the trouble to scan and upload...The first tif has a beautiful picture of Smt. DKP, but there is also an indescribably whimsical picture of Ms. Malavika Sarukkai to the right in that pane. THANKS....

rshankar-SSI( in easy chair) & RKS look quite majestic is it not ?
I some how felt MDR would have rarely smiled & some one had caught it at the right moment. I may be wrong. I just attended one concert of MDR in IIT, Chennai in '70s. I also had the privilege of listening to S Balachander's- Veena Concert. I had the unique privillege of carrying Veena of Doreswamy Iyengar to the stage & also spent quite a long time with him before the concert. All these concerts I attended when I was a student @ IIT, Chennai. I also grabbed the best prize for singing"Mayamalava Gowla".

cienu- Very Much True. Genius Artists are cranky too. Dwaram's photo is just awesome. There is a cunning smile while lighting the cigar, did you observe this ?

Hapiness Has To Be Always Shared. The Happiness becomes much more when so many of you enjoy. That was the only idea. I have collected many such articles, would love to U/L one by one.
