THe concert of DR.Ganesh with Madurai Balasubramaniam on violin & Chidambadaram S. Balashankar on mridangam was a very pleasing & fullfilling one. the opening Charukesi varnam by Sri Lalgudi Jayaraman itself set the tempo of the concert .The Rtp in Saveri was very crisp without any unwanted gimmicks set to a simple thalam .ofcourse being a sishya of Late Maharajapuram what can we expect other than all his superhit songs.like Thalattu, vilaiyada ethu nerama & so n & so forth .the artist has a very good potential & future

Dr.Ganesh's kutcheri at BARC on 19.04.09 was excellent.His rendering of song on Ragavendra, thillana,etc all maharajapuram's superhit songs ......... were superb.On the whole sevikku oru arumaiyana unavu!!!!!!!!!!

more than anything else his rendering of thalattu was par excellance.i think he brought Late. Maharajapuram to life that day .
