I went into the concert quite late, when Pattabhirama Pandit was winding up swaras for Marubalka.
I was told that he had started the concert with Nattaikuranji Varnam. What followed Marubalka was a high voltage Panthuvarali alapane and the Tyagaraja's krithi Ninne Nera namminanura.
The krithi Brovabarama proved a very nice contrast to the previous item. The Swarakalpana had some very interesting patterns.
The highlight of the concert, to me, was the thodi alapane. I am not competent enough to comment on the technical intracacies of this, but I felt the gamakas had a lot of clarity and were very beautifully done. The grand Dasharathi Ni Runamu of Tyagaraja couldn't get better than what was presented.
Finally, he sang a small slokam in behag before launching into Kandu Dhanyanade. The slokam had lyrics like "Narayanam Gurum Vande". Could this have been in prase of his Guru Sri KVN ..
Manjunath's high accompaniment standards were very much expected. I loved his thodi alapane and swara kalpana as well.
The Thani from Sri Easwaran and Ravikumar was very good.
The concert was well attended. Holiday declared for many institutions because of General Elections was probably a plus.
This is a concert that I shall cherish for a long time. Hats off to Pattabhirama Pandit and team for such an exquisite concert !

One bharath and/or shrikanth1987 has put and few more reviews have come from bangalore . pattabhirama pandit is standardizing on pantuvarAli as a sub main and tOdi as a main. Did any one notice the same???
Here I think i was a little bit lucky....I heard a beautiful Saveri and a great Sankarabharanam (there was a Pantuvarali piece though)...of course With TKV Ramanujacharyalu,UKS sir and Giridhar Udupa accompanying him....
