Here is my attempt at translating caraNam SaraNam AnjanEyA:

I seek the refuge (SaraNam) of your feet (caraNam) SrI AnjanEya, the messenger (dUtA) of lord SrI rAmA!
anupallavi
arivu kozhundE AnandamE anbin vaDivE shrI AnjanEyA
aramAi tiramAi Akki ninrAi varamE vandaruLvAyE shrI AnjanEyA
SrI AnjanEya you are the personification (vaDivE) of love (anbin), happiness (AnandamE) and searing/flame-like (kozhundE) intellect (arivu)! You became (Akki) the pinnacle of virtue (aRamAi) and prowess (tiRamAi) and stood tall (ninrAi)! Now, please come (vandu) and bless us (aruLvAyE) with boons (varamE).
caraNam 1
mAnattezhundu vaNNak-kadirOnin vazhi ninru vaLar kalai payinravA
mOna tavattOnE mUlavanE jnAlattuyarnda shrI AnjanEyA
You are the one who practiced (payinravA) the art (kalai) of growing huge, and jumping high (vaLar) by jumping up into the sky (mAnattezhundu) and trying to obstruct (ninru) the path (vazhi) of the colorful (vaNNa) sun (kadirOnin) [1]. Oh practitioner of silent (mOna) penance/austerities (tavattOnE); the primeval lord (mUlavanE)! SrI AnjanEya who is pre-eminently (uyarndavA) wise (jnyAla)!
caraNam 2
vAnavar vAzhttum vAnara vIrA vAyuvin maindA shrI AnjanEyA
tEn amar shOlaiyil anjanai Inra nallAnandanE en shrI AnjanEyA
Oh brave monkey (vAnara) warrior (vIrA) who is praised (vAzhttum) by the gods (vAnavar), son (maindA) of vAyu (vAyuvin)! My (en) Lord AnjanEya, who was brought forth (Inra) [2] into this world by anjanA (anjanai) in a grove (Solaiyil) where nectar/honey (tEn) resides (amar).
caraNam 3
peN avaL sItaiyai ten ilankai senru kaNDingu vandu seidi uraittavA
aNNalin innal kaLaindavan nI en arum deivamE shrI AnjanEyA
You are the one who went (Senru) to lankA (ilanakai) in the south (ten), and discovered/beheld (kaNDu) that (avaL) lady (peN), sItA (sItaiyai), and returned (vandu) to this (ingu) place and proclaimed (uRaittavA) the news (Seidi) of her sighting to rAma. My (en) beloved/unique (arum) lord (deivamE), you (nI) are the one who removed/destroyed (kaLaindavan) my lord, SrI rAma's (aNNalin) affliction (innal) [3].
FOOTNOTES
[1] Refers to the bAla lIlA of hanumAn when he jumped at the sun and tried to swallow him, thinking he was a bright orange - the ensuing impenetrable darkness led the gods to plead with him to spit the sun out!
[2] Inra - gave birth to
[3] When hanumAn returns from lankA, he finds rAma in the grip of extreme sorrow, ennui and lassitude at the thought that they may never find Sita - hanumAn's proclamation of 'kaNDEn, kaNDEn, kaNDEn, sItaiyai kaNDEn rAghavA' infuses him with new life and purpose and he sets about building up the army to fight Sita's captor.

1) I feel that the starting words should be vAnam rather than mAnam-
'mAnam(sky)' is used only colloquially.
2) jnAlam means world-not to be confused with jnAnam(knowledge) .
Regarding HanumAn's proclamation after seeing sIta dEvi,
kambar says it beautifully
kaNdEn kaRpinikku aNikalanai'- to assure rAma that he did see sIta and saw her as pure as ever.
Hanuman is therefore called sollin selvan.

Ravi,
Yes. nyAlam also means uyarndOr (the wise ones?).
nyAlam paDaittOn is nAnmugan where it means 'the creator of the worlds. nyAlattu uyarndOnE! can mean the great one in all the worlds, I suppose.
aRamAi, tiRamAi Agi ninRAi : Agi=being the embodiment of;
'mAnam uyarndOn': I think too that mAnam is vAnam in spoken tamizh, not to be confused with mAnam which means gauravam, dignity. I think Punarvasu is right.
