2009-10 is GNB's birth Centenary year. It is believed that Madurai Subramanya Iyer trained GNB in his early years. Any information on this Vidwan?

Subramania Iyer (father of MS) was a practising Lawyer, a sangita Rasika but not a musician...

Like this, legendary Maduari Mani Iyer case also. It is mentioned that he was trained initially uner Shri Rama Iyer. Can somebody give some details on this "Guru"?

M.S.Subramania Iyer was on the faculty of Annamalai University, in the music department, many years ago. He has composed some varNAs. His on M.S.Sadasivam was associated with AIR. The grandson lives in Buffalo. N Y.
