iccuvai tavira yAn pOy indiralOkam ALum

Let me take a stab at the meaning of this one:

Oh inhabitant (uLAnE) of the great (mA) city (nagar) of SrIrangam (aranga) whose complexion (mEni) is like (pOl) that of a mighty (mA) verdant (paccai) mountain (malai), whose lips/mouth (vAi) are as red as corals (pavaLa), and whose beautiful (cen) eyes (kaN) resemble a lotus (kamala)! I do not desire (vENDEn) the gratification (accuvai) of ruling (ALum) the heavens (indiralOkam), even if that privilege were granted (peRRinum). For, I do not seek anything else (tavira) but the intense pleasure (iccuvai) that comes from my association with what is common knowledge (ERE) to the gods (amarar), namely, the chanting of (ennum) the names of the scion (kozhundE) of the yAdavAs (Ayar tam), the imperishable one (accutA) [1].

FOOTNOTES
[1] accutA - could also be split as 'a (that) + cutA (son)'. What is very interesting is that in addition to vishNu, both Siva and kArtikEya are also refered to as 'imperishable' ones. In the same context, pArvatI is refered to as accutai.

Having beheld (kaNDa) the ambrosia-like (amudinai) vison of the beautiful (aNi) resident of SrIrangam (arangan), the one whose complexion (vaNNanai) is that of a dark, rain-bearing cloud (koNDal), who is (in)famous as the one who ate (uNDa vAyan) butter (veNNei), the one who has become a hero (kOvalanAi) and has attracted/ensnared (kavarndAnai) my (en) heart (uLLam), the king (kOn) of the cowherds (aNDar) [1], my (en) eyes (kaNgaL) refuse to see (kANAvE) anything else (maTRu onDrai).

FOOTNOTES
[1] aNDar can also mean the gods.

abda is cloud(giver of water); but I think it is abdhE-meaning ocean.(abdhihi- a receptacle of water) and abdhE is addressing the ocean.shiva is addressed as 'ocean of compassion'.

I stand corrected.. #9 it is

'When caught by a crocodile(nakrAkrAnthE) the elephant king(karIndrE)with closed eyes (mukulita-nayanE) called out"O primaeval being/AdimUla!"mUlamulEti (piteously)khinnE
(Not I,not I; neither is it me) nAham nAham na chAham (There is no such amongst us)na cha bhavathi punasthAdrshO mAdrshEshu/
(Saying thus, when deserted) ityEvam thyaktha-hasthe sapadi (by the entire host of heartless devas)suragane bhAvashUnyE samasthE

(He, who was the primal root/anchor) mulam yath prAdurAsIth (May that lord direct us to auspicious tidings)sa dishathu bhagavAn mangalam santatam naha//

When the elephant-king, caught by a crocodile, called out 'Lord,Father of all ' in pain, with closed eyes;all the gods said, It isn't I, not I, there is no such in our fold.
He who then, gave succour; may that ultimate lord confer good to us.
