Maybe the artist who sang the recording i am familiar with sang it wrong, but it even sound alot more like yennerum

but when translating thamizh to english, you would write Ennerum without the y.

Thank you sir!!

ennEram = 'what time?' innEram = 'this time'

The padam is about a disappointed nAyikA (who has waited for her Lord to come) asking her friend 'weren't you the one who said that he'd be here at this time (innEram)? Where is he' - I do not think it would make sense for this to mean 'weren't you the one who said he would be here at what time (ennEram)?' So, it HAS to be innEram, IMO

Ela Nee Dayaradu (especially that Santhanam rendition with Mrs. Santhanam also singing along)
Endaro Mahanubhavulu (especially BMK's and TM Krishna's versions)
Eppadi Paadinaro (Karnataka Devagandhari, especially Late DKP's renditon)
Eti Janmamidi Ha! O Rama (Varali, sung beautifully by Vishaka Hari)

Edayya gati --- Koteeswara Iyer/Sowmya......Stark. Haunting. Melancholic echoes for a full 12 mins....The strings rip through you....Performed beautifully by Pushpa Anand as well..... Also sung with passion by Sanjay S., a shorter duration.

Eti jenmamidi by Visaka Hari brings a tear or two, as it hits home.

Enna tavam seidanai by Lalgudi is outsanding.
