Thank You. I feel the great composer has excelled himself in this composition. It is musically a unique Barista Kapi, full of such poignancy and appeal, and suits the sahitya so well. The second Muruga song that entered my heart, after Vaa Muruga. (no third, how can I dislodge the #1 in my list, Karttikeya Gangeya...)

My Summary
1. Should I, your devotee, suffer these trials and tribulations, oh Muruga of divine grace!?
2. Do you dispute that being your ardent devotee should wipe out my sins?
3. is my pain beyond the power of your grace to alleviate, or are you slow in bestowing your grace?
4.Your father conquered Kama (biggest foe of man). You hold the invincible spear. You are the Guru nonpareil. I am your ardent devotee Ramadasa. So....

Sachi - to your list of songs on murugA I'd add konji konji vA guhanE in lilting khamAs, where the composer, Sri Tooran has used words so cleverly to maintain dvitIyAkshara prAsa with the syllable 'jna' beautifully through out the composition, with words like konji, anjal, senjol, kanja, nenjam, etc.

Ravi - another thing : In C2, I think "vali" here means strength , synonymous to "valimai". Is my karma so strong that your grace cannot overpower it?
