Is there (Edu) any other (vEru) medicine/remedy (marundu) to destroy/be rid of (ara) the disease (rOgam) of this tedious worldly (bhava) existence? Please bless me with the ability to meditate on/pray to (bhajikka) you (unai), so that the sins/consequences (vinaigaL) of my past/previous births (pazha) will not follow me (todarAmal).

Hari vAmi AFAIK refers to pArvati (may have its origins in the phrase 'SivavAmabhAga nilayE' used to describe the dEvi as the resident of the left half of Siva's body), and abhirAmi while referring to pArvati as well (Siva is abhirAma, so, pArvati is abhirAmi) also means beautiful/pleasing etc.

vamA in sanskRt means a pleasant/beautiful woman.. vAmI may be a grAmya form of the same word..

Keerthi - that is another possibility. vAmI in tamizh can be used to refer to pArvati specifically.

In this clip (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=27-pWTo9CE4) that shows part of the kriti, sakala SelvangaLum tandiDuvAyE sadAsivan vAmi nIyE, abhirAmiyE, at 0:31 and 0:42 and 0:52, the word vAmi is interpreted as 'Siva vAma bhAga nilayE'.
