Yashoda is swinging the cradle of Krishna. He is resting on the sea.He is reclining on the serpent and she is singing a lullaby for him,to sleep in deep meditation.[p] [1c] sleep on,in bliss,in ecstasy,You are the ocean of virtue, sleep on.The queen of the lotus born Brahma and Anjaneya are the embodiment of your blissful self.Sri Krishna, sleep on.[2c] You annihilated the demon,Shakatasura, sleep on.You rest on the leaf of the peepul when the world is destroyed, sleep on.Devotees and uninitiated sing your praise,Virtuous Purandara vittala,Sri Krishna, sleep on,thus she sings[.I feel fortunate if even a small fraction of the spirit of the song is represented in the translation.]My thanks to Srini Rajarao and rshankarji.

Thanks for the meaning! Quick question - sAgara Sayanana - wouldn't that be 'he who sleeps/reclines on the sea'?

Of course.Saagara is "sea" and "shayana" is reclining .And "sagara shayanana" is "one who reclines on the sea"
