Nice concert for the occasion. It was a full hall with a committed audience. The acoustics was just ok. I liked the natakapriya (as I was told later) very much - haven't heard it before. My only gripe was the simmendramadhyamam and kamas could have been switched. No complaints about brocheva (one of my all time favs) - reminded me of hearing KVN sing it in the bay area in 1993. Sri. Krishnamurthy grandson of Mysore Vadudevacharya was present on the occassion. TKV was superb (I have a bias - as I like the way he plays a lot) and the percussion accompaniment was very nice. Tani got a lot of applause - being talam challenged - someday will appreciate it
