I am trying to understand the meaning of the Navaragamalika varnam. I know the meaning of some of the words but dont know how to put it together gramatically.

Pallavi: Valachi Vacchi Yunna Naa Pai Chalamu seyame raa sami
---> Valachi( with love) Vacchi yunna(I have come) Na pai( upon me) . How to link these gramatically?

I am guessing Chalamu seyame raa means---> come without delaying.

Anupallavi: Cheluvudaina sree Venkatesa Kalasi melasi Kowgalincha
-----> O Beautiful sree Venkatesa lets meet (Kalasi melasi)and embrace (Kowgalincha)

Charanam: Pada Sarojamuna nammi
---->after believing in your lotus feet

Please correct any of my mistakes and let me know.

Thanks
Anirudh

celuvuDaina (celuvuDu+aina) = beautiful person/ friend

pada = feet

Dear Anirudh,
I am giving a version of the varna. It is slightly different from your version in some letters.

Pallavi: valachi vacchi yunna nA pai calamusEya mErA gAdu sAmi ||

valacu = v.t. love; to wish, desire. valaci = having desired you,
calamu = n. envy, malice, spite, illwill, enmity, hostility; obstinacy.
mErA = maryAda = decoram of behaviour, propriety of conduct, gentlemanliness, politeness etc.

gist: O Lord! it is not proper ( mErA gAdu) to show obstinacy (calamusEya) towards me (nApai), who has come to you with desire? ( valachi vacchi yunna)

Anupallavi: celuvudaina SrI vEmkatESa kalasi melasi kowgilimchara ||
celuvuDu = a friend; a lover.
kowgilimchara = Imperative form of kowgilimcu = to embrace.

gist: SrI vEmkatESa, my beloved, meet me, mix with me and embrace me.

Charanam: pada sarOjamulanE nammiti ||

gist: I believed (nammiti) only your lotus feet (pada sarOjamulanE)
