Another clue for 25..

btw that answer by Mohan for 25, while a very good answer for the clue, is not what I had in mind. ( But I see how your clue works for that answer )

30 is Nattai (not I)
Cool one :)

So 27 neelambari as proposed by nadhasudha is wrong?

Let's wait for the remaining answers then I'll post a few more puzzles. This is interesting!

Right, not what I have in mind. I was only saying Yes to those that were right without saying No to the ones that did not match mine

The North Indian monkey - is it kApi?
kapi -> kApi (because monkey is long tailed ;)
and North Indian because kapi is a Sanskrit word?

PB, yours as well as Mohan's( chakravaham ) fit my clue (Diabetics don't date) but the one I had in mind was raga 'kEsari'. yes, there is a raga by that name.

So all we have now are Ananth's latest set. PB's answer 31 sounds good!!

No sir.

This one is a bit tough. Focus on kUttaNi, a Tamil word. Rest of the clue is just to support this.

35. There is a raga named 'Sangrama'; Sangrama means - battle, war, fight, combat, conflict.
If it is 'Samkrama', it will match the clue 'kUTTaNi'; Samkrama means - coming together.
