vsn, you are welcome back home. we always knew people will get disheartened with the materail ways of the west and come back to their roots. (in the meanwhile can you lend your unused green card for sometime? i always wanted to go to the US but did not know the way. Please keep the matter confidential; it is between us!!!)

I guess I went where the Heart led me on.
No regrets. One advantage in a software field is you keep commuting to US every other month atleast. I just hit the K and wal marts/radio shacks to help myself to the material world.
ot to mention my mother and siblings traveling to madras from there all the time
It is just that invariably I keep seeing whole families in the malls out there. Ultimately, more than material things, it is the equal opportunities plus not being hated( as a community en masse) that make people want to migrate.
oh, my green card is gone. don't miss it.
sorry for going away from the topic of The Hindu(which is anything but that)
