@ Venkat Ramachandran #3 was Kappaduve unadhu baram (Tanjore quartet?)
Pankaja Lochana was awesome indeed!

@ MV thank you. Yes the cittaswaram was very lively and lovely.
ps: I am still wondering if it is by one of the Tanjore quartet. Vedanayagam Pillai compositions always have the "Vedanayagan" signature. This one does not. Also IIRC this was popularized by TM Thyagarajan who specialized (among other things) in the works of the quartet.

Check the link. The consensus is Sivanandam(not tanjore quartet or ponniah pillai) . I think MV erred by mentioning as vedanayagam pillaipvs wrote: ↑19 Dec 2017, 12:07 @ MV thank you. Yes the cittaswaram was very lively and lovely.

Actually I know this song. My Sir didn't give me name of composer but I have later noted it down as Vedanayakam Pillai. The story goes that he is Christian who became Hindu and composed many songs using 'Brihadeeshwara' as his mudra. Maybe Amrita Murali herself is the best person to confirm this. I have heard Sanjay sing this as well.rajeshnat wrote: ↑19 Dec 2017, 13:09
