Re: Need meaning of Sanskrit verses
If possible please post the lyrics in devanagari.
I think the second word may be"dUro..." and also tava in the second line must be some other word. nava or tara perhaps

Rajani, thank you so much.
I really love your translation.
I have a doubt. Does a word pramoda mean anything about perfume
Or smell of his rut-fluid?

Thank you Avnipriya.
Yes, pramoda also means perfume, though here I would think it means the joy he feels from the shower. Also rut may not be implied here as he is shown as a naughty child.

Re: Need meaning of Sanskrit verses
Just putting it in Devanagari for Rajani-ji
विघ्नेशः सर्वविघ्नान्परिहरतु स यत्कर्णतालाद्
उदझचद्वायुव्याधूतकण्ठस्थलयुगलद्भूरिसिन्धूरपुरैः
आरुण्याद्वैतभावं गतवति जगति क्वापि नो भाति
भानुर्नैवासौ शीतभानुः क्वचिदपि नितरां भासते वा कृशानुः
A couple of typos in the source I think.
Last two lines split as follows:
गतवति जगति क्वापि नो भातिभानुः न एव असौ शीतभानुः
क्वचित् अपि नितरां भासते वा कृशानुः
My attempt at translation
:
Neither sun, nor moon, nor fire, illuminates ever anywhere in that moving world.

Re: Need meaning of Sanskrit verses
In the second line, the fourth word should be gaNDa (cheek) and not kantha(neck).
The last two lines mean :
When the world is fully rendered red , neither sun, nor moon, nor fire can shine even a little, anywhere.
The reason for the redness is in the first two lines - Ganesha's ears sway and cause the Sindura on his cheeks to be scattered.
