divya + aushadam = divyaushadam
In Thamizh grammar it comes under 'puNarcci'. Under puNarcci vigAram, this conjunction comes under "keDudal"--i.e., a letter disappears when two words are conjoined. The "a" in the word aushadam (varumozhi) disappears when combined with the nilaimozhi "divya".

Sorry, mahakavi, I was not clear. I did not mean to correct--merely wanted sandeep to understand the words by separating them. This might not help him at all, since he is from the US. Thanks for the grammar lesson--I need it more than him!

I am not sure if you want the meaning for the grammar explanation or the song itself. Here is the gross meaning for the song:
P: If you worship rAma all your diseases will disappear. Unnecessary delusions will get removed.
A: We will see rAma with our eyes and presently we shall attain the purpose of our birth.
C: Life in this world is mixed with pleasure as well as pain. If there is no scorching sun there is no pleasure in the shade.
If there is no misery who will think of Him? He will test us by subjecting us to the raging fire but then take pity on us and then lift us up and bless us with happiness. Chanting his name is a panacea (divya aushadam ---divya= splendid; aushadam= medicine) for all our debilities. So chant rAm, rAm......
As for grammar, nilaimozhi means the word that stays or starts a phrase. varumozhi (literally coming word) means the one that comes and joins. puNarcci means joining (of words here), vigAram means distortion.
arasi:
I did not think you corrected the word. I was emphasizing Sivan's usage being correct. He was such a scholar, devotee, composer, and in short a great human being.
