My attempt. Others can jump in to correct.

maaM paahi sarveshwari mokShadaatri = protect me, O Universal Mother, the Liberator (i.e. dispelling the bonds of samsAra)

te dhyaanayogaanugataa apashyan = to Her (tE) ensconced secretly (apShyan) in dhyAna yOga

tvamEva devIM svaguNairniguuDhaam = You are of very meritous values
tvamEva ShaktiH parameshvarasya = You are the female energy of paramEShvara

devaatmashaktiH shrutivaakyagiitaa = Who embodies the gods and extolled in the ShrutIs

maharshilOkasya puraH prasannA = Who is kind to the sages
guhaa = ???
parama vyoma sataH pratiShThaa = I think this is "paravyOma sadA pratishThA" which translates roughly into, "She Who is always seated in the Spiritual Sky"

paraasyashaktiH vividhaiva shruuyase = Who is the Principal ShaktiH Who extolled in many means???

ShvEta aShvavAkyOdita devi durge = Goddess durgA who rose from the words of a white horse(hayagrIva???)?// (I thought durgA was conceived from agni, as the durgA sUkta describes)

svAbhAvikI j~nAnabalakriyaa tE = To her by nature is the potency of knowledge

Can't understand the rest of the hymn.

kmrasika, Belated thanks for your help.
I hadn't logged in the last few days.

Does the word apashyan mean secretly or one who is not visible ( thru Dhyanayoga)?

Your take on the rest of the shlokam gives me an overall idea.

Thanks again. Laxmi

Svethashvatara upanishad is mentioned and not a white horse

Thank you. If you have the nAgarI text of the above stOtram it would help identifying the correct words. Yes, apaShyan could mean one who is not seen, considering she is concealed in dhyAnayOga.

kmrasika,

I could not find the Sanskrit version on the net. Even kamakoti.org, has only the english version.
