Shishyapriya: Sri Ramraj sir's ( vageyakara ) singing at http://www.karnatik.com/c3512.shtml will give you a pretty good idea. But if you still need the Arohana/Avarohana alone sung, then Sri. Ramraj is your best bet to see he will agree to sing the Aro/Ava for you.

As per SSP what u say is correct,
where as per another version found in SANGEETHAS RAGA KADAL, BY sRI mahadevan it is SA RI GA MA PADA PA SA SA NI DA PA MA GA RI SA.
tHERE IS ANOTHER VERSION as per the same SSP, that Slaka Bhaivari is a derivative of (20)Nata Bhairavi
and Dr.MBK depicts as (20)Janyam with Sari ma pa da sa.
SA NI DA PA G A RI SA
WITH SUDHA DEIVATHAM
Above all there is another version by Mysore Rangiah, who depicts S.Bhairavi as Janya of (37) Salakam with
SA RI MA PA DA SA ;SA NI DA PA MA GA RI SA
aLL THE ABOVE ARE SUDHA SWARAMS JUSTR LIKE kanakaangi alternated with Prathi Madhyamam
But the practice in vogue is mostl y (22)janyam

What VKji says is correct.Karnaranjani -ghandharam (sadharana) has no oscillation since it is used as an amsa swaram and not nyasasswaram just as in sahana.That is the reason why I choose to havethe Aroh : SA RI GA MA GA PA DA NI DA SA (OH !! WHAT A BEAUTY !!) iT NOT ONLY ADDS TO THE COLOR OF THE RAGAM BUT PRESENTS A DISTINCT IDENTITY.You may also note from my rendition, that I started the pallavi itself as NEEDAYA KORITI (nI da pa gA ri ri) NEERAJA LOCHANI (ri ga ma pa pa ma ma ga ga pa pa) and as a concluding Sangati (nI ri sa for NEERAJA as swaraksharam.Again

I was also wondering about the liberal use of nishaadam in your rendering and now it is explained. It also rids the mohanam hangover that VK has detected.
