Nandy,

Here you go:

sharavaNabhava enum. rAgA: SaNmukhapriyA Adi tALA.

P:
sharavaNabhava enum tiru mandiram tanai sadA japi en nAvE Om

In the pallavi SrI Sivan is telling himself: Oh tongue (nAvE) of mine (en), please ensure that you always (sadA) intone (japi) that (enum) sacred (tiru) invocation (mantiram tanai) ‘Om SaravaNabhava’!

A:
purameritta paraman neTrik-kaNNil uditta
bOdha svarUpan porp-pAdam tanaip-paNindu

He continues: Please intone ‘Om SaravaNabhava’ as I bow down/offer prayers (paNindu) at the golden (por) feet (pAdam tanai) of the embodiment (svarUpan) of knowledge (bOdha) who was born out of (uditta) the third eye (kaNNil) in the forehead (neTri) of the mighty Lord (paraman) who burnt (eritta) the three purams (or cities) of the three evil demons - tArakAkSa, kamalAkSa, and vidyunmAlI.

C:
maN misai kiDanduzal piravip-piNiyait-tIrkkum
mAyai
agalap-pErinba neriyil shErkkum
taNmadi nigar kuLir
karuNai nilavu mizhum
SaNmukha priya SadAkSara pAvana

In the caraNam, the composer talks about the grandeur of this sacred invocation. He says, the holy (pAvana) six-letter (SaDAkshara) invocation dear (priya) to Lord murugA (shaNmukha) is capable of several amazing things:
1. Destroying (tIrkkum) the burden/malady/sickness (piNi) of this life (piravi) that makes us live (kaDandu) and swirl about aimlessly (uzal) on top (miSai) of this earth (maN).
2. Taking us (SErkkum) to a state (neriyil) of indescribable ecstasy (pErinba) that is achieved after the removal (agala) of the web of illusion (mAyai) that keeps us from attaining this.
3. Will bestow compassion (karuNai) that is equal to (nigar) the cool (taN) moonbeams (madi) shed (umizhum) by the moon (nilavu).

EDITED with Arasi's correction.

nilavu+umizhum=which the moon sheds (radiates, spits--umizh nIr is spit).

This must be one of the topics that did not transfer over fully when we moved to the new forum. I have replaced it from my notes.
