Looking for 'Nalla Sagunam noekki selladi'

I was reading this bio of GNB and he is said to have launched into this very apposite tukkda 'Nalla Sagunam noekki selladi' (loosely translated to-'Look for a propitious sign before you leave') when a comely young lady sought to leave in the middle of his concert. 
I haven't heard this song before, and a quick search on the net drew a blank. Wonder if any one has it.

Thanks! I thought malaik kaLLan (based on the novel by nAmakkal kavinyar) was a super film! I still feel the song was sung by Bhanumati. Why? Because I can only hear it in her voice, even now--with that faint telugu lilt which was all her own. The sellaDi, aDi all had her light touch. No, I can't hear it in Leela's voice! Moreover, why would Bhanumati need a playback singer? If only we could get hold of a recording!

As for paDum pADu--'pATTai' though is the familiar expression, it is pADu (agitations) not pATTu (song). When you sing it too, pATTAi does not sound suitable. 'paDum pAdai' flows. 'Lightly, o lightly when we hear Bhanumati skim along the line, one can see it
is it 'paDum pAdai' or 'paDum pADai'? as you wrote in your post-9?
'pADai' also has some other meaning in tamizh and hence the accusative singular of the word 'pADu' (difficulty) may be 'pATTai'(the same as that of the word 'pATTU' meaning 'song')

Now, think of pATTai--The listener might hear it as nAn pADum pATTAi! (the song that I sing).
Someone recently observed that we make a big deal out of these things (the lyrics gang). True, but I don't think it matters beause we learn something from it here and there and we also have fun with it...

Thanks - Looks like Smt. Sudha's version is very close to yours, except that she does not sing the penultimate line of the caraNa where the nAyikA exhorts her friend to not be brief, but instead, to describe her (the nAyikA's) suffering in excruciating detail.
