Prashant,
I think this song on 'Tyagesar of Tiruvarur'. He is called 'veedi vidangar'. In the charanam there is the reference of the Lord going to the house of Sundaramoorthy nayanar's wife to bring about a reconciliation between her and Sundaramoorthy nayanar
I feel a couple of words may be different;
for eg.I am not sure of the word'alarayanum'- ayan is 'Brahmaa'-but alarayan I am not sure;
the last word of the anupallavi should be 'pada' insead of 'pa'.
In the penultimate line of the caranam , the word should be 'bhujangAbharaNaa'

Prshant,here it is-I have changed it into prose form for translation. Being from Tiruvarur, I just could not resist translating this song.
nin caraNa malariNai tuNaiyE- your flower like pair of feet is my companion
mahaadEva (malar)-Oh Lord Mahdeva
anupallavi
paNindiDum pa(da)malar-the flower like feet bowed down to by
alagilsakala ulagavagaiyum - all the beings living on the earth
amararum anbarkuzhaamum-the devas and the devotees
alarayanum muraariyum purandaranum- Brahma, Vishnu and Indra
caraNam
tirumaalayanaRiyaada -not knowing, Vishnu and Brahma-
kaaNavanRu- (set out )on that day to look for your
-tiruvaDimuDi -sacred feet and your crown(head)
tiruvaarooranbar poruTTu-for the sake of your devotee in Tiurvarur(Sundaramoorthy nayanar)
(u)vangonDu-willingly
cenRavanE-you went
tiruveedidanil naDand(u) - walking on the streets
Or terivaiyiDam paNbenana- to the place of Paravai naachiyaar(his wife)
neelOtpala maadu maruvandyaakEsanE-ThyAgEsa, the beloved of neelOtpalAmbAL(goddess of Tiruvarur)
singaadana naayakaa- the lord seated on the throne
bujangaabharaNaa veedi viDangaa-adorned with the snake, oh veedi vidanga
(Tiruvarur is one of the sapta vidanga kshetrams)
tiruvaDi-the sacred feet
raamadaasan uLangaadal konDa - with which the heart of Ramadaasa feel in love
