Actually, yesterday I heard Unnikrishnan sing this padam at Kalakshetra. I am somewhat familiar with the charanam you have posted, but he sang a different charanam, and I could not catch the words. There was something like 'kai thatti shonnar' in the first line. If anyone is able to help, I would appreciate it.

Some small corrections.
Odai shuzhum ----> ODai sUzhum (surrounded by a creek)

This line does not convey the intended meaning. Some textual distortion has occurred.
The dame is telling her friend that " if I had done such and such he would not forget the good deed that I did for him.."
Somehow the text is deficient in conveying that.

shiguvEn ----> seyguvEn

As for "kai toTTu sonnAr", it indicates a promise by Lord Thyagarja to our dame. That phrase cannot fit in with the existing first line of caraNam here. It needs a much more inclusive text.
