Re: Trans and meaning of dari joochu padam, Shankarabharana
just a minor comment on the meaning - in 1st charanam - padakinti lOninchi means - paDakinTi is bedroom (paDaka is bed, inti is house but here paDakinTi is bedroom) lOninchi - from inside - (andar se in hindi). so the phrase paDakinTi lOninchi means from inside the bedroom. (the girl came to the portico & stnading) thanks. ravi.

C1: vennala gAyagA vEDkamIra manci sanna jAji virula sarulanu gandhamu
pannITi cembulu *paDakiNTilOnunci* vannelADi talavAkiTa nilici nI*
In the text it is mentioned ‘paDakinTilO nunci*
She has kept many things in the bedroom
Then she is standing at the main door.
‘talavAkiTa’ is the main door or entrance to the house.
No mention of portico anywhere.
