Shri Chitravina N Ravikiran, the guest of honor graced the occasion with his presence and shared some perspectives on his compositions which number to about 700 , a considerable feat. Other dignitaries present were Dr M Surya Prasad, renowned art critic, renowned Bharatanatyam couple Shri Kiran Subramanyam and wife Sandhya Kiran and Shri Anoor Anantha Krishna Sharma and Dr Srikantham Nagendra Sastry. They had high words of praise for Shri Ravikiran’s compositions and expressed the view that it was equally important to present the works of contemporary composers in concerts and dances along with the works of the great composers of the past. The compering was of a very high calibre, beautifully recited in Kannada by Shri Sugganahalli Shadakshari.

• Melaprapti with shlokas on Lord Ganesha and Saraswathi.
• Bhaskara Kauttuvam in Nattai – Chaturashra Jhampa (composed for Mahabharata operatic dance production for Cleveland Aradhana)
• Kuzhaloodi konjidum azhaga - Adi Tala Mohanam pada varnam
• Samagana suma brahmarudaina – a krti in Kalyani eulogizing Shiva as the embodiment of perfect music (where the opening syllable of every line is a swarakshara of SRGMPDNS respectively)
• Pancha raga-tala-jati mAlika Tillana in

o Anuallavi - Bilahari (Roopakam)
o Charanam 1 - Kapi (Mishra Chapu)
o Charanam 2 - Behag (Khanda Chapu)
o Charanam 3 - Madhyamavati (Sankeerna Chapu)
